Stepwise syllabus of SLST

The first round is the Preliminary Round which contains 150 marks. The second round is the Mains round which contains 200 marks.

Preliminary Round (150 marks)

This is an MCQ round

• English – 40 marks
• GK and Current Affairs – 70 marks
• Arithmetic and Mensuration – 40 marks

Mains Exam

The Mains exam is divided into two groups, and each group contains 100 marks paper.

The first group has English composition and comprehension of 50 marks and grammar in the medium of instruction of 50 marks. The second group is about the knowledge of the subject you are applying for. It contains 100 marks.
