Railway exams are of six types – RRB NTPC, RRP Group – D, ALP, RRB JE, RPF Constable, and RPF SI.

RRB NTPC

RRB NTPC or Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board. It offers various posts – Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master and several other posts available throughout the country.

RRB Group – D

ALP

RRB ALP or Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot is conducted by RRB to recruit Group-C and Group-D, non-gazetted civil servants. It is a national exam and is hell online. The syllabus of this exam consists of General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Logical Reasoning, and General Intelligence.

RRB JE

RRB JE, or Railway Recruitment Board, is a central agency placed under the Ministry of RAILWAYS. It recruits candidates for group C and group D non-gazetted officers. You can sit for this exam. It offers various job roles like Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication, Traffic Transportation and Engineering in Civil. The best part of this job is that it pays a handsome sum of money to its officers. The examination takes place in two rounds, and it is computer-based. Document verification is the last step.

RPF Constable

The RPF Constable exam takes place in three rounds. The first round hosts  a computer-based test. You will get 90 minutes to complete a set of 120 questions. The last two rounds include PET and PMT exams.

RPF SI

The Ministry of Railway recruits males and females for the post of sub-inspector in India.
