• Number of papers – 2
• Mode of examination – 3 hours

Exam Pattern of UGC NET

The UGC NET has two papers that you have to complete within a period of three hours. Both papers have objective papers, and it is compulsory for you to attempt both papers.

Paper 1 has 50 questions for 100 marks, and Paper 2 has 100 questions for 200 marks. So, the total number of questions is 150, and the total marks are 300.

• You have to complete both papers within 3 hours without any break.
• All the questions in both papers are compulsory.
• The medium of the papers for NET/SET is English or Hindi. You have to choose the medium of paper while filling out the form. So, be careful in this step.
